T.J. Miller Shares Unflattering Story About Ryan Reynolds on Set of Deadpool Films

In a recent radio appearance, actor T.J. Miller spoke candidly about his experiences working alongside Ryan Reynolds in the Deadpool franchise. Although he praised Reynolds' performance as the Merc with a Mouth, Miller revealed that their time together on set was not always smooth sailing.

Miller recalled an instance where he felt belittled by Reynolds during filming. According to him, Reynolds made a snide comment about his character Weasel's role in the movies. 'He was like, 'You know what's great about you, Weasel? You're not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it's funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie,'' Miller quoted Reynolds as saying.

The actor admitted that he found this comment 'horrifically mean' and felt disrespected by his co-star. Despite his efforts to brush off the incident, Miller expressed regret over how the situation unfolded. 'I didn't think I had said anything that was that negative,' he said. 'I told the story because it was weird and funny to me, and then it gets picked up.'

Miller also touched on Reynolds' behavior during filming, claiming that the actor requested an additional take to make fun of him in front of the cast and crew. This experience left a bad taste in Miller's mouth, leading him to state that he would not work with Reynolds again in the future.

'He did that and it was weird, and it didn’t bother me, but … I just kind of listened, and thought it was weird, and then I got off stage because they were like, 'Cut…?'' Miller said.
